Xchanger Suite® 

Xchanger Suite is software for the rating, simulation, and/or design of a wide variety of heat transfer equipment, including shell-and-tube and non-tubular exchangers, air coolers and economizers, and fired heaters. Xchanger Suite modules include:

Xfh® Ultra

Xfh Ultra, HTRI’s new general-purpose fired heater modeling software, is flexible enough to handle most fired heater configurations. It incorporates a user-friendly interface that reduces learning time and increases efficiency. 

Xfh Ultra complements HTRI’s Xfh® software, an advanced tool for detailed analysis which uses a multizone firebox model.

Non-core Software Products

HTRI offers several additional software products that can be independently licensed.

SmartPM

SmartPM performance monitoring, analysis, and prediction software for shell-and-tube heat exchanger networks supports a greater understanding of oil refinery operational performance.  Through monitoring and reconciling plant data, SmartPM provides accurate performance predictions through detailed heat exchanger modeling. It enables engineers to make informed decisions regarding maintenance or energy use, such as determining optimal exchanger cleaning schedules.  

XSimOp® 

Get HTRI accuracy inside your process simulator environment! XSimOp is a new line of unit operation calculation modules for process simulators. The first of these products, XSimOp ShellTube, is available for Honeywell UniSim® Design Suite and KBC Petro-SIM®. Additional exchanger types and process simulators will be considered in the future.

Exchanger Optimizer 

Finding the best solution for your heat transfer system requires careful evaluation of capital, installation, operating, and maintenance costs. Exchanger Optimizer simplifies the complicated design process and could potentially save your company millions. Engineers can use this software to quickly obtain relative cost estimates, compare multiple configurations, and select the most cost-effective configuration.

Edgeview® 

Edgeview rapidly calculates performance indicators for shell-and-tube exchangers by using built-in filters and pre-defined calculations that make the most effective use of HTRI methods. The software’s parallel-processing feature allows users to execute rigorous Xist calculations more than eight times faster than running the cases in Xist individually. With the aid of HTRI’s exchanger models, the results highlight performance shortfalls, making it easy for users to identify important operating points for thorough troubleshooting.

Xchanger Suite® Educational 

Xchanger Suite Educational is a suite that includes Xace, Xist, and Xphe for use by educational institutions.
