STS-1 Field Data and Performance Analysis for Gas-Gas Exchangers with Glycol Injection

This report briefly reviews some of the problems of proper design or performance prediction of low temperature gas-gas exchangers with glycol injection to suppress hydrate formation. Complete field operation data for five of such units are presented. A tentative method developed by HTRI for prediction of tubeside heat transfer and pressure drop with glycol injection is documented. Pertinent literature references are summarized.
