Q7-1 Improved Xist 2.0 Condensation Pressure Drop Method at High Vapor Fraction

HTRI has modified two-phase pressure drop correlations for shellside condensation for the high vapor fraction range of 97 percent to 100 percent. A parametric study and experimental data show that these new correlations greatly improve predictions of pressure drop for shellside condensers with segmental and double-segmental baffles at high vapor fractions. This article documents the modified methods in Xist 2.0.
