Abstract:

Xist™ 1.0, in HTRI Xchanger Suite 1.0, approximately adjusts the two-phase nozzle pressure drop to reflect our research data. To further improve Xist’s overall prediction for required static head, we have developed a better separated-flow two-phase nozzle pressure drop method. This new method substantially improves the prediction of our experimental horizontal thermosiphon research data.
