HTRI Adds Representative in France

College Station, Texas, USA
May 1, 2004

Heat Transfer Research, Inc. (HTRI) is pleased to announce the addition of Sodeco, and its president Jean Verot, to our global team.

As an HTRI representative, Sodeco, located in Chateaudun, France, will support current members and promote our products and services to prospective customers. At present, we have eight (8) member companies and five (5) Participating Affiliates in France, representing about 8% of our European customer base. Sodeco will not only provide technical support locally but also help us increase our membership in France.

Jean Verot founded Sodeco 20 years ago to distribute engineering software in French-speaking countries. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Ecole National Supérieure Arts & Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris, France, and has expertise in heat exchanger thermal and mechanical design, fluid flow analysis, pipe stress analysis, pressure vessel analysis, and finite element design. Before founding Sodeco, Jean Verot headed the design office for CITEC, worked for a heat exchanger manufacturer in France, and developed software for B-JAC in the USA.

We are confident that, working closely with our European office, Sodeco will provide value to our current members through complimentary technical support, as well as increase our availability and visibility with prospective members in France. Join us in welcoming Sodeco to our European operations!
