Heat Transfer Research, Inc. (HTRI) is pleased to announce the organization of a Communication Committee (CC) in Italy. CC-Italy held its first meeting in November 2006, with representatives from seven Italian member companies. Blazo Ljubicic (Koch Heat Transfer Company Srl.) serves as Chair, and Antonio Tomaciello (TECHNIP ITALY S.p.A.) as Vice Chair.
CC-Italy joins thirteen other CCs that provide an official forum for members in geographic proximity.
These member-initiated and member-managed committees formalize and facilitate input, helping members to communicate their opinions and needs to HTRI. The CCs provide feedback on proposed software enhancements, while their information about operating exchangers and other field experiences assist us in shaping the future of our technical program. Their involvement often extends beyond their local committee; from the ranks of the CCs come HTRI beta testers, Task Force and working group members, as well as candidates for the Board of Directors and Technical Committee.
We welcome the formation of CC-Italy and look forward to working closely with its members.
